1.) New Staff Introduction

This is a bit of a belated introduction - I wanted all of you to meet (over email) Sabra Williams, who recently joined Teaming for Technology at the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania as an AmeriCorps*VISTA. Her title is Program Associate and she'll be helping out on a variety of T4T-related activities, as well as participate in some CTCNet organizing. In May 2004, she graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, where she received a BA in Asian Languages and Cultures and minored in history. During college, Sabra interned at the Southeast Asia Resource Action Center in Washington, D.C. and the Boys and Girls Club of Geneva, NY. For the past four years, she worked for Information Technology Services at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. Before moving to Philadelphia, Sabra lived in Bouckville, a small town in Central New York. Sabra is an avid flautist, plays the piano, and enjoys reading.
You'll be seeing more of her throughout the year, so please introduce yourself as this happens!

3.) Does your organization need Information Technology help?

If so, then a T4T Intern could your organization’s needs. The Teaming 4 Technology (T4T) Internship program provides Philadelphia area students in the Information Technology field with practical experience through the use of structured internships. Working with regional companies and non-profit organizations through a partnership with community colleges, area tech and high schools, T4T Internships bridges the gap between supply and demand for IT workers by emphasizing the importance of skill standards and experience.
