1.) Verve's Free Web Clinic Gets Rave Reviews

Verve Internet Solutions' first Web Clinic for Nonprofits educated and impressed everyone, from the thirty-three nonprofit organizations who received free consultations to the Web Experts who provided help and guidance. T4T partnered with Verve to make this event a reality. Raphael Baker, Lassain Robinson, and Benjamin Bruening all were on hand to provide analysis and answer questions for the attendees. “We felt honored to participate,” said Raphael.

4.) T4T’s September Training Schedule

Classes for the fall semester begin Tuesday, September 14. A variety of classes covering a wide range of topics and features of Office Products will be held at West Philadelphia Community Center and Reboot Philadelphia. Basic, intermediate, and advanced level courses will be offered in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. There is something for everyone, from beginners to experienced users. It is not too late to register, so contact Raphael Baker at 215.665.2525 today to reserve your seat. Class information is also available at www.uwsepa.org/team4tech/training.htm.

Unless otherwise noted, West Philadelphia Community Center classes begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Enrollment fees are $75 for T4T members and $85 for non-members.

Reboot Philadelphia classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. Enrollment fees are $45 for T4T members and $55 for non-members.


Access 1: Creating Tables and Relationships

This is the course that teaches you how databases work so you can edit an existing one or create your own with confidence. Learn how to design and edit tables, define relationships between them, set primary and foreign keys, and filter and print data.

This is an in-depth class in creating successful mail merge documents using multiple types of data sources, including Word, Excel, and Access. We will review both labels and letters.
Excel 2: Formulas, Macros, and Add-ins

Unleash the power of your spreadsheets by learning how to use financial, logical, and date functions. Organize your data with filters, outline, and subtotal, and learn about “goal seek” and “solver” to become the Excel wiz in your office.


Creating Forms in Microsoft Word
